Rosanne Malowany
LIT Student Representative
Rosanne Malowany is a first-year LIT student at MacEwan University. As a mature student, she decided to shift her career path from a clerical/supervisory role (Canada Post Corp.) to a library technician because she enjoys the library environment and the people who make it thrive. She plans to learn more about the broader library industry firsthand by delving into the different opportunities that GELA and other library organizations offer. The various social events offered at GELA this past year inspired her to join the team. By helping the MacEwan LIT students stay updated on GELA activities, she can also learn what matters to the members as a whole.
